Reflexology tends to be an aggressive form of therapy based on the rigors our feet typically endure daily.  As stated above, like any form of therapy, moderation should be heeded during initial sessions using lower time intervals, as well as having days off between your first few massages.  The strength of the foot massage can also be reduced by turning down the airbag pressure. This will result with less pressure pressing the soles of your feet down onto the rollers.  Additionally users may wear a heavy pair of socks or use a small towel under each sole initially to help provide cushioning for a more enjoyable foot massage.

How to take care of your Massage Chair

To keep your chair looking like new, little maintenance is required. If you would like to, we recommend periodically wiping down the chair with a quality leather / vinyl cleaner/ protector. Make sure when you do this that the power cord is plugged in tightly and is not worn. Check all of the zippers to insure they are connected well. You can vacuum the footrest area as it accumulates debris as well.  You may also unzip and wash on a gentle washer cycle all of the inserts for the footrest and arm pockets.  Air-drying them is strongly recommended to avoid shrinking.  Replacements of these fabric pieces are NOT covered under warranty.
